On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Black Hills Powwow Association, I invite you to come and enjoy the 29th Annual Black Hills Powwow slated for October 9-11, 2015, at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. The theme for this year’s Black Hills Powwow is “Come Dance With Us.” Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beauty of Great Plains indigenous song and dance. Also we will be having our fourth, “Champions of the Northern Plains” singing contest paying out $27,000 in prizes. This year our total prize payout will be over $85,000!

The Black Hills Powwow has become one of the premier American Indian cultural events in the United States, attracting hundreds of dancers, singers, artisans and several thousand spectators from across several U.S. states and Canadian provinces. In addition to the powwow, spectators have the opportunity to enjoy a fine arts show, He Sapa Win pageant, wellness symposium for youth, and tournaments for hand games, softball, golf, and archery. You are welcome to explore our website to see what may interest you. Also, thank you in advance for attending the 2015 Black Hills Powwow!
